Who we are

Make Emote (makeemote.com) helps you create and export platform-ready emotes. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Classic editor (browser-first)

The free classic editor runs in your browser. Images you edit there for local download are not uploaded to our servers for that flow. Drafts may be stored in IndexedDB on your device.

Accounts and cloud features

If you create an account we store your email, password hash, optional display name, and related account metadata.

Cloud projects, AI Studio, and Pack Maker may upload selected assets you choose to process. Uploads are used to fulfill the feature you requested and may be retained according to our retention settings.

Billing and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe when billing is enabled. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe may process payment data under its own privacy terms.

Analytics and logs

Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Optional privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) loads only after consent.

We may log technical errors, rate-limit events, and security-related request metadata to keep the service reliable and safe.

Your choices

Signed-in users can download account data and delete their account from the dashboard. You can change analytics consent by clearing site data or contacting us.
